Have You Met Misha?
Hello everyone. My name is Misha and it’s a real pleasure to meet you! Imagine my surprise when my friends here at AWS told me that I was going to be this week’s featured pet. I couldn’t believe it! Little old me? After all, every day here someone comes in looking to adopt and the staff always ask them “have you met Misha?” And every day I’m passed by for another cat. So, when it came time for a new blog, the staff asked themselves “what about Misha?” I feel honored, really! I can’t wait to tell you all about myself and hopefully reach my perfect people. I know they’re out there!
Get to Know Misha
Some would describe me as shy and as your classic introvert. However, I would describe myself as contemplative and thoughtful. I love to talk long looks out windows watching the birds fly by and think about how beautiful everything is. I also like to take long naps on my cat tree and I usually have the most wonderful dreams. It’s true that I was rather shy when I first arrived here, but I think my time at AWS has helped me to grow. I may be eight years old, but you’re never too old to learn something new!
I love the company of my people and often look forward to gentle head rubs and chin scratches. The volunteers here will spend hours with me just hanging out and giving me attention, and I truly love the company. I will always be a more mellow and quiet cat who prefers the calm, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like attention. In fact, I would love for you to stop on by and say hello! Just come to AWS and when they ask “have you met Misha?”, you can reply “not yet, but that’s why I’m here!” Just ask for me by name and I’ll be ready and waiting for you!
Adopt Misha
I understand that choosing a new pet to adopt is a big decision. I’ve been at AWS for about four months now, and I’ve watched many new cats get adopted. While I long for a home of my own, I’m never upset or jealous. In fact, I’m always happy to see my friends go! I just have to be patient because I know great things take time. My people are out there and all it takes is them reading this blog, or scanning the website, or perhaps talking to someone who’s met me. Any little thing could pave the path of destiny and bring us together. In the meantime, my job is to look cute and be patient… two things I’m very good at!
