Summer Camp

Children spend a week in the summer learning about animals!

Each summer, AWS holds week-long workshops for children aged 7 to 13. Daily activities include animal time, games, crafts and field trips – all while learning about pet care and animal welfare. Each student gets an AWS t-shirt, a certificate of completion, and a lesson in compassion. Snacks are provided, but students bring their own lunch.

Sessions run Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, and tuition is $275 per session.  For more information call Megan Cross, Humane Educator, at (207) 985-3244 ext. 109 or send an email.

Summer camp might be done but we have some great Humane Education programming this fall. Check out Pizza with Pets and Humane Action League!
