Children spend a week in the summer learning about animals!
Each summer, AWS holds week-long workshops for children aged 7 to 13. The students have the opportunity to interact with pets, play games, do crafts and go on field trips, all while learning about animal care, handling, and animal welfare-related issues. Each student gets an AWS t-shirt, a certificate of completion, and a lesson in compassion. Snacks are provided, but students bring their own lunch.
Sessions run Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm, and tuition is $275 per session. Be sure to sign up early because spaces fill quickly. For more information call Megan at (207) 985-3244 ext. 109 or send an email.
Thank you to everyone who attended our 2016 Summer Camp. Check back in the spring to register for 2017!
