Wisteria now Luna

(Written by Braydon age 11)
My Dad and I volunteer at AWS every Saturday morning and do cat socialization. We came across a cat named Wisteria and pet her a lot one day. We both loved her right away. We decided she was special and wanted to adopt her so we took her home that day! Mom was a bit surprised, but now she loves her as much as we do. She fits in so well with our other pets and is such a good girl. We did change her name to Luna as my friend said her eyes looked like the moon. The name stuck and now we call her Luna Balloona!

Another wonderful Happy Homes! 🐱

Kikyo now Oliver:
"I adopted Oliver 6/23. He is the sweetest boy ever! He loves to play fetch with me, play with his brother Snoop doggy dog, beg me for kitty treats and cuddle with me on my chest. He always has to be the center of attention, if I am watching tv instead of paying attention to him he will disconnect the internet. (Yes, he has taught himself how to do that) 🤣
Thank you AWS for making it possible for Snoop and I to enrich our lives with our bestest, beloved Ollie 💕"

A special thank you to Mrs. Rivard's 2nd grade class for supporting AWS with their wonderful donation! From towels and blankets to toys and treats, each student's contribution helps AWS continue to support the animals of our community.
During this joyful time of year, be sure to remember to keep your pets in mind! There are plenty of common items around the holiday season that can be hazardous to your animals.

Have a safe and happy holiday!
