@aws.maine

We love our youngest donors! This sweet girl and her family recently donated a whole stack of homemade cat beds for our resident feline friends to enjoy. It always warms our hearts when children work to make a difference in their community and better the lives of the people (and animals!) around them. From all of us at AWS, thank you!! ❤
Did you know you can take our resident dogs out on dates?! Our Dog Date Program is unique for each dog and gives them time away from the Adoption Center to have a fun outing in the community.

Types of dates can include:
✔️ A Quick Ice-cream Date
✔️ A Half-Day Adventure
✔️ A Leisurely Lunch Date
✔️A Daylong Field Trip
✔️ An overnight sleepover
✔️ A Weekend Getaway

Our Dog Date program runs 7 days a week, though date scheduling is dependent on our dog population at any given time. Here, you can see Kenai enjoyed his ice-cream date with our short-term foster and was so happy afterwards, he took a nap all afternoon!

Sign up to be a dog date foster on our website and help our pups have a fun-filled summer before they find their happy homes!
