Bimini now Abbie

We adopted Bimini (now Abbie) in May 2022. Abbie is a “potcake” dog originally from the Bahamas where she was rescued by Bahamas Humane Society and then flown to AWS by Wings of Rescue. When we met Abbie, staff told us that she was sweet but shy. They also said she would prefer a home with another dog who could teach her the ropes, and our Golden Retriever Daisy was the perfect fit! Once they hit it off I knew that we wanted to bring her home. She was very shy but it only took a couple of weeks for her to follow her sisters lead, and learn how to be a house dog. Now we own a Dog Daycare and she has progressed so much from shy and uncertain to spunky and playful! She adores her new doggie friends and loves her family. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and we are so lucky to have found her.
