AWS has pet food resources for community members as part of our Stay@Home program. We partner with area (human) food pantries and community service organizations, primarily in York County. We provide pet food and supplies to these partner organizations. They in turn then pass them along directly to their pet-owning clients. This program ensures that pet families have access to local resources for their pets, without having to take a special trip over to AWS in West Kennebunk. Therefore, we keep very limited food on site for the public. Anything not needed for our shelter pets is given to our food pantry partners.
