Hello friends! My name is Jordy and I’ve been chosen as the Groovy Pet of Woofstock week! Guys, can you believe Woofstock is this Saturday! Time sure flies! Just in case you missed it, us Groovy Pets are given this special title in honor of the upcoming festival. I can’t be sure, but I feel like I was given this special honor because of my looks. I mean, I’m a dead ringer for the Woofstock dog in the promotional poster. Just look at my curls! So, I will take this title with dignity and honor and become the official Woofstock dog doppelgänger!
What is Woofstock?
Whaatt?? You don’t know?! Well good thing I’m here to help you! Woofstock is Southern Maine’s only family-friendly, dog-friendly, food and beer festival. It’s held every year on the grounds of AWS and is totally FREE! There’s something for everyone at Woofstock including various food trucks, local craft brews, live music and entertainment, kid’s games, a bounce house, dog agility courses, makers and craft vendors, giveaways, and so much more! It’s bound to be a doggone good time.
I have never been to Woofstock, but I hope to be there this year! Wouldn’t it be amazing if I were adopted by Saturday so I could attend? I would be amazing at the festival because I love other dogs, love to have fun, and am super energetic. Plus, people would assume I was the real, life Woofstock dog! I’m such a young and fun-loving guy that I feel like I would fit right in. Plus, I want to try my first beer! What? Didn’t you know there is going to be dog-friendly beer at the festival?!

I can’t be around cats unfortunately, but that’s okay because Woofstock is for the dogs! I can’t wait to prance right into the festival with my head held high and my tail wagging!
