Pop-Up PackWalks

A group of people walk their dogs on the road alongside a trainer.

Are you looking for a more leisurely training opportunity to do with your dog? Are you hoping to get outside more with your pup? Perhaps you just want a simple, fun, but engaging activity the two of you can do together. If so, we have the perfect new thing for you to try. Pop-Up Pack Walks at AWS are here!

What is a Pack Walk?

A pack walk is a casual but still structured walk where a group of dogs are walked together. In our case, Pack Walks are lead by one of our certified canine trainers and consist of a small group of students who have already graduated AWS Basic Training. Stroll the beautiful grounds here at AWS including our marked trails and wooded pathways. You and your pup will get to meet fellow dog-lovers who are also excited to get outside and learn something new. Your dog will love all the sights, sounds, and smells out on the trails as well. Plus, it’s a great way to sneak in some more exercise!

These group walks are more casual than our typical class structure, but they are still organized and a great learning opportunity. Our experienced trainers will lead the pack and be there to offer tips, advice, and simple training suggestions. Walks with your best friend have never been so fun!

What Does ‘Pop-Up’ Mean?

Pop-up simply means that these walks won’t be offered on a regular, routine basis. Instead, they will pop up spontaneously throughout the summer, weather permitted. To ensure your spot for the walk, make sure to check the upcoming Pop-Up Pack Walk schedule. It’s been a beautiful summer so far, and we hope that you and your dog will join us for some outside fun!
