Hey everyone, my name is Tiana. I’m here with my friend Merida who can be a little shy, so I’ll be doing all of the talking! We’re a pair of cats currently in foster while we wait to find our new home together. We may not be the first ones to run up and say hello, but with a little time and patience, we promise we’re worth getting to know! Together, we are both pretty low-key and quiet, so for this week’s Pet of the Week learn all about Merida and Tiana: Your Calm Companions!
Meet Merida: Your Quiet, Gentle Companion
As I mentioned before, Merida is more of the “watcher” than the “doer” between the two of us. She’s a few years older than I am, and she’s learned what her likes and dislikes are. Merida and I both prefer a quieter environment, and Merida especially enjoys her hiding spots where she feels most comfortable. As she continues to settle into her new environment, she loves to come out to watch birds, explore cozy spots for naps and make biscuits when she’s happiest! We both enjoy hanging out and lounging around together!

Meet Tiana: A Sweet Soul Who Blossoms With Love

Then there’s me! Like Merida, I can be a little shy at first, but I acclimate to my new home a little quicker than my counterpart. I am as sweet as can be, and love sharing soft headbutts with my favorite people. One thing I’ve learned to love is cozy, soft blankets (the cozier, the better) and I really enjoy lounging and napping on them all day. Similar to Merida, I also like to perch and watch the birds outside and explore our space together.
A Love Worth Waiting For
Now that you’ve heard a little about each of us, we think we are a love worth waiting for! We both prefer a quiet, low-key environment without a lot of hustle and bustle. We both know that we aren’t the most energetic or exciting pair, but with patience and love we truly blossom! Merida and I don’t need a lot, just a peaceful space, some cozy spots to relax and someone who understands that some cats need a little time, and a lot of love.
