Self-Improvement, But Make It Cute

Meet Moose. Focused. Mostly

Dear future training buddy,

Lately, life has been all about practice, progress and the occasional very important field trip to Lowe’s.

The AWS training team has been helping me work on leash walking, focus and feeling more comfortable in busy places. There is, admittedly, a lot happening in the world. Carts. People. Smells. Lumber.

But I’m getting better at checking back in, refocusing and staying connected with my handler.

Practice Makes Progress

Longer walks mean more distractions and more brain work, and sometimes my attention span decides it has other plans.

The good news? I’m learning how to reset.

Busy environments are getting easier, my confidence is growing, and every trip out gives me another chance to practice being the composed gentleman I am clearly becoming.

Very professional. Mostly.

Lowe’s: My Training Ground

Trips to Lowe’s aren’t just for browsing the garden center.

They’re a chance to practice around new sights, sounds and people while building positive associations along the way. Each outing gives me another little win, and those wins are starting to add up.

At this rate, I’ll be running the place.

Off the Clock

Training matters, but it’s not my whole personality.

I still like walks, sniffing, hanging with my people and just being a dog without an agenda. Give me structure, patience and some time to decompress, and I’m very capable of settling in and enjoying the moment.

Balance.

The ideal home for me is one that sees training as something we can keep doing together.

I’ve already started the work. Now I just need someone who wants to keep going with me.

If you or someone you know is interested in adopting me, give my friends a call at (207) 985-3244 – tell them I sent you!
