Keeping it Easy with Harmony & Valerie
Hello everyone, my name is Harmony and I’m here with my friend Valerie! We are a loving pair of sisters who are known for keeping it easy. One thing to know about us is that my friend Valerie is fully blind. While she can’t see, she uses her other senses and her best friend (ME!) to help her find her way. And let me tell you, it doesn’t stop her from being an awesome cat. Together, we’re very easy-going cats who will find happiness in a low-key, loving home.
Easy to Love
We’ve been staying with a wonderful foster family, and here they share why me and Valerie are so easy to love.
“Harmony is a small beauty with white paws and expressive green eyes. She loves to snuggle up on the sofa with you. She’s playful and loves paper towel rolls, noisy balls and little mouse toys. Harmony is known to “help” you when you’re on your computer by sitting in the most convenient places. She’s curious about the outside world and can watch the birds at the feeder for hours! She’s a loving and gentle kitty and is a wonderful companion who’s keeping it easy”
“Valerie’s very loving and gentle but is very shy at first. While she is fully blind, once she gets the lay of the land in her surroundings, she has no problem getting around. Valerie’s a beautiful long-haired black who loves any toy with a bell or something that can make sound for her to find it. She prefers a quieter atmosphere so she can hear what’s going on. Valerie approaches people on her own terms but once she’s engaged, she’ll roll at your feet. They’re both so easy to love!”
Easy to Entertain
As our incredible foster mentioned, Valerie and I enjoy playtime and snuggle time! We’re two peas and a pod, playing with each other or playing with you, you’ll usually find us together! During the day we’re usually keeping it easy, lounging around and perching at the windowsills. But at times we do like to keep you entertained with all of our fun quirks. From rolling around playfully for a belly scratch to chasing a jingle ball across the room, we’re pretty fun!
Easing into Our New Home
While we are pretty friendly and low-key cats, we’re going to need time to grow out of our shells. Which, of course is to be expected when meeting new people and having a new home! Valerie especially will need time to get a feel for her new environment. Luckily, we will both help each other feel more comfortable in our new spaces! It won’t be long till we’re comfortable with our new vibe and our new people, and it’ll be like we’ve been with you forever! So, if you’re someone who likes to keep it easy and quiet with a nice night in of reading or watching TV, then you might be the right fit for us!
