Hey everyone, my name is Cinder, and I’m here with my friend Sammie! It’s so nice to meet you all. Sammie and I are looking to find a home together, and while we wait, we figured it would be nice to tell you what makes us extra special! You see, we’re both known to be quite silly and full of fun! So, for this week’s Pet of the Week, get to know myself and Sammie, AWS’ resident goofballs!!
Keeping it Fun and Silly
As the resident goofballs, Sammie and I like to keep it fun and silly! We both can’t get enough of being outside together, and Sammie tends to roll around in the grass when she’s really happy. We’re very playful, whether it’s together, with toys or with you!! I personally love a good stuffie to play with, while Sammie prefers to chase a ball (though, she sometimes won’t bring it back to you!). Being the resident goofballs, we can’t have enough of the fun!
Friendly Resident Goofballs
Along with being very silly, we’re generally pretty friendly too! Sammie and I like to think that everyone we meet is our new best friend!! And, why wouldn’t they want to be? We like to go on walks together, and recently have gone on some very fun dog dates at AWS!! Sammie and I got to meet all sorts of new people while we walked on the beach and had some tasty pup cups. Of course, being the resident goofballs we are, Sammie rolled around in the sand and I shoved my entire face into my cup. Silly us!
Smart and Snuggly
One of our favorite parts of our friendliness is all of the snuggles we get to share with people! Sammie likes to snuggle, but I LOVE to snuggle. Find us a couch, a bench, or anywhere I can squeeze in to curl up with you and I am content. And, if you’re hoping one of us cuddles with you, Sammie and I know lots of cues like “get up there” or “come”! We’re both great listeners and think we are pretty smart as well!! So, while we are the resident goofballs, we don’t tend to get into too much trouble.
