Shy and Sweet: Blue Hawaiian & Green Alien Search for a Quiet Home

Hey everyone, my name is Blue Hawaiian and I’m here with my friend Green Alien. We are a pair of cats looking for a home that’s as low-key as we are. Not every cat wants to be the life of the party. Some prefer a cozy corner, quiet home and a human who understand that love takes time. Green Alien and I are here to tell you all about what makes us shy and sweet in this week’s Pet of the Week!

Hiding is Our Comfort Zone (For Now)

One thing we really want our future families to know about us is that having cozy spots to hide is what makes us comfortable! As a shy and sweet pair, we prefer to have spaces that we can get away and keep to ourselves. Hiding helps us feel safe and we feel most at ease when the world isn’t too loud or busy. Green Alien and I aren’t trying to be difficult, we just need time to trust and adjust in our new home!

A Shy and Sweet Pair

What we’re looking for is somewhere we can take our time, explore when we’re ready and be ourselves. While we are shy, we think that with time and patience in a calm home, we may show the sweet sides of ourselves. Maybe you don’t love crowds or lots of hustle and bustle either? If you’re someone who prefers a quiet night in over a loud night out, you may be the right person for us!

We’re Quietly Waiting for our New Home

You might not see us at first, but we’re quietly waiting to meet our new family! While we wait, we want to share a list (and some photos below) of some of our favorite hiding places we hope to have in our home:

  • Under the Bed: A real classic in any home and provides the right amount of comfort and space away that we like!
  • Inside a Blanket: The ultimate cozy and comfortable place to hide, even more fun when it’s a blanket fort.
  • Cardboard Box: Not even two shy and sweet kitties like us can resist a cardboard box – especially one placed in a low-traffic area.
  • Inside of a Cat Tree: It’s enclosed, and it’s elevated? That’s the height of luxury for us!

So, if you think you or someone you know is the right fit for two shy and sweet cats like us, then come by the Adoption Center or give our friends a call at (207) 985-3244!
