Do you have a young puppy eager to get out and play? Are you looking to socialize them with other puppies and their people? Perhaps you want to enroll them in a training class, but can’t commit to a six week schedule? If any of these sound familiar, then Pop-Up Puppy Playgroup is for you!
What is a Puppy Playgroup?
Our Pop-Up Puppy Playgroups are a great way to meet other puppies and enjoy playtime and socialization time together! Socializing a puppy at a young age is one of the most important things a pet parent can do. In these sessions, puppies learn to foster positive associations with other dogs all while having fun. We like to think of these sessions in terms of when we were school. Playgroups are like gym class where you get to learn, get exercise, work together, and have fun all in one go!
Some playgroup activities that you and your pup might do during these sessions include:
- Playtime with enrichment toys
- Learning activities and games
- Puppy obstacle courses
- Supervised free playtime with other pups to explore and interact
Of course, all of these activities and games will be supervised under the watchful eye of our certified trainers! Owners will also gain valuable insight to understanding their puppy’s body language and social cues. Pop-Up Puppy Playgroup is also a great supplement to a group Puppy Kindergarten, or can be used to build skills while not enrolled in a traditional group class.
What Does “Pop-Up” Mean?
Just like with our Pop-Up Pack Walks, Pop-up simply means that these playgroups won’t be offered on a regular, routine basis. Instead, they will pop up spontaneously throughout the summer as time is available. To ensure your spot in the playgroup, make sure to check the upcoming Pop-Up Puppy Playgroup schedule. We’re in the last of the dog days of summer, so it’s the perfect time for some puppy fun in the sun!
