Care can wait. Please reach out to your primary veterinary clinic or closest urgent care.
- Mild itching or scratching
- Weight changes over time
- Mild bad breath
- Overgrown nails (not embedded or bleeding)
URGENT CARE
Conditions that need same day attention but aren’t life-threatening.
- Sudden limping or injury/trouble walking
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea without blood
- Hot spots
- Urinary changes (though still urinating)
- Coughing without distress
- Ear infections
- Hiding/not feeling well
- Eye Injury
- Mouth pain/not eating
- Embedded or torn nail
- Mild pain
EMERGENCY CARE
Life-threatening conditions that should be seen immediately.
- Difficulty breathing or choking
- Excessive bleeding
- Seizures or collapse
- Suspected poisoning or toxin exposure
- Unable to urinate
- Severe pain or distress
- Allergic reaction
- Heat stroke
- Labor complications
- Overnight care
