Blue

I adopted Blue on July 26th and he is doing awesome! I adopted him to be an emotional support dog/service dog. He is doing great with it. He responds to a clicker, learns so fast, and is such a love bug. He goes everywhere with me. Every time we go to stores, everyone stops and asks to pet him or compliment on how well he behaves. I’m still working on a few things with him, but he loves kids and has two other big dogs he plays with almost everyday. He loves them! He listens very well and loves to play fetch. We live on a lake so we are trying to teach him how to swim, but he still is weary of the water. Yet another thing we are teaching him! But seriously, for only having him four weeks I couldn’t ask for a better dog. He is the perfect match for me! I was shocked at how well behaved and how awesome his personality is. I just love him. Everyone does. Overall he is the best dog I’ve ever had. I couldn’t have been so lucky!

We have a Happy Homes story for you about a pair of adorable guinea pig sisters who found their family through fostering. Sometimes our small pets get overlooked, so we wanted to share the story of Ivy and Fern with you! Here`s what they`re mom has to say:

"Here’s a few photos of my foster fails during their floor time! Fern is still a bit jumpy when being picked up and Ivy still nips to get her way, but they are doing fantastic. They know when it is veggie time at 9am and 9pm, and they let me know by the loudest wheeking and squeaking you’ve ever heard! They are just so fun and funny and I love them so much!"

We currently have over 10 guinea pigs looking for their happy homes. If you`ve ever adopted a pig from us before, consider leaving a Happy Homes story of your own so we can share with the world how amazing and fun cavies can be!

It`s a bird! It`s a plane! No it`s... a blur of puppies playing!

Our recent Pop-Up Puppy Playgroup was a big success with lots of fluffy friends rumbling and tumbling around. Activities practiced during this play session were time with enrichment toys, puppy obstacle courses, and supervised free play to learn safe and appropriate interactions. The pups were so busy playing, they couldn`t even pause for a picture!

Our next Pop-Up Playgroup is on Thursday, September 12 @ 1pm. Register you and your puppy today!

Do you have a young puppy eager to get out and play? Are you looking to socialize them with other puppies and their people? If so, then Pop-Up Puppy Playgroup is for you!

In these sessions, puppies learn to foster positive associations with other dogs all while having fun. Playgroups are like gym class where you get to learn, get exercise, work together, and have fun all in one go! Some playgroup activities that you and your pup might do during these sessions include:

🐾 Puppy obstacle courses
🐾 Supervised free playtime with other pups to explore and interact
