Tuuka
I adopted Tuuka from the AWS in 2015. When I saw his face I just knew I had to meet him! I went down to the shelter and it was love at first sight! Although this big lovable goof ball was so sweet he had a hard time finding his forever home. I figure he was waiting for me, because I saw in him something special that no one had before me. From then on he was apart of our family- a loyal constant companion who loved hugs and being raspberried, ice cream and cheese, and laying on the bed next to me or rolling around in the grass out in the sunshine. Sadly Tuuka passed over the Rainbow Bridge on February 16th of this year…our hearts are broken and we miss him terribly, but he brought us so much happiness and love the sadness is somehow outweighed.

"Charlie is doing great in his new home! After having to say goodbye to our last dog in September `23, we met Charlie in February and fell instantly in love. He’s a big, smart, playful, high-energy pupper! It took a few months for him to really get comfortable with us, but now he’s happy and settled in. He loves playing fetch in the yard, keeping watch for squirrels and pedestrians, and snoozing with his people. We’re so happy that this sweet, beautiful boy is part of our lives!"

Penny and Winston came to AWS on their own paths, both looking for a new family. Despite being in separate kennels, one fateful night they decided they would stage their own meet cute! The rest is history! These two are ear-resistible and couldn’t get enough of spending time together. No-bunny loves like these two!
