Hey everyone, it’s Eddie again! If you’ve followed AWS on social media then we’ve become well acquainted (my face is also the cover of AWS’ website!). As the longest resident at AWS, I’ve had a lot to share with you all over my time here. And now, as the holidays get closer, I thought it would be a wonderful time to share what I want this season! So, for this week’s Pet of the Week, learn about Eddie’s Holiday Wishes!
Eddie’s Holiday Wish for a Home
My biggest wish for the holiday season is to find my new home! While I’ve had a great time in my 275+ days at AWS, I have spent a lot of time thinking about what my new home would be like. I have some particular preferences, like being the only pet in the home, and having adults or older kids only. But I also think about how fun it will be to play, snuggle and love my new family!! My friends at AWS will be the first to tell you how much of a cuddle bug I am, which leads me to my next holiday wish!
Eddie’s Holiday Wish for Snuggles
Along with finding a new home, my next wish for the holidays is lots and lots of snuggles!! In my time at AWS, I can’t count how many times I have asked for belly rubs and snuggles. I just can’t help that I love to be loved!! What’s better than having a full-time cuddle partner at home? Get some treats and belly rubs involved and I will be endlessly happy to snuggle up with you at all times. Especially during these cooler months!!
An Endless Supply of Tennis Balls
Snuggles are one of my favorite things, but it’s no secret that I am obsessed with tennis balls. Like absolutely obsessed!! Many dogs are treat motivated, and don’t get me wrong I do love treats, but there’s nothing like a tennis ball. I could chase a tennis ball forever, playing fetch and chewing on my favorite ball all day! As soon as you break out a tennis ball, nothing else matters!! So, along with holiday wishes of finding a new home and lots of snuggles, I dream of an endless supply of tennis balls 🤩
