Hey everyone, I’m Steve! A fifteen year old senior guy waiting to find my new home to spend my golden years. While I may be older, I still have plenty of love and snuggles in me!! Over the course of my life, I’ve come to know exactly what I do and don’t like, and what I would prefer in my next home. So, for this week’s AWS Pet of the Week, learn all about how I’m looking to spend my golden years!
Love Filled Golden Years
As I said before, I have a LOT of love left to share. My friends at AWS can tell you that any time they walk by the cat room I’m located in, I’m at the door flopping around for attention! I just love to be loved, and can’t help but want to spend my golden years getting all of the attention I desire. So, get ready for an endless amount of headbutts and snuggles, because I wouldn’t want to have it any other way!!

Cozy and Relaxing Environment

When I’m not sharing my loving personality with you, my next favorite thing to do is relax. As an older gentleman I’m past my running around days and prefer to lounge about. Finding the perfect place to curl up for a nap will be one of my first tasks in my new home! Whether it’s on the couch, a cat tree, or bathing in the sun, I prefer a quiet and relaxing environment over the hustle and bustle. Who wouldn’t want some peace and quiet in their golden years?
Golden Rays and Golden Years
Along with my love for sunbathing, I’ve learned to love watching the world go by outside in my golden years! In my current space at AWS, I get access to a catio!! It’s a ton of fun for me to sprawl out and watch the birds and all of the outdoor activity go by. Even if my new home doesn’t have a catio, I’m more than happy to perch by the window and keep myself entertained!

Well, now that you know how I’d like to spend my golden years, do you want to spend them with me? As long as you’re ready for all the headbutts and snuggles I have to share, I think we’ll get along well!! If you or someone you know is interested in adopting, come by the Adoption Center or give my friends at AWS a call at (207) 985-3244.
