Mekko Is Ready to Rule Your Kingdom

If you’ve always wanted a dragon but your homeowners insurance had concerns, I might be the perfect compromise.

I’m Mekko, a 3-year-old bearded dragon with scales, spikes and a healthy appetite for live prey. So, technically, I think I qualify. The good news? I have absolutely no interest in breathing fire, guarding treasure or terrorizing villages. I’d much rather bask in the sun, supervise the household and snuggle with my favorite humans.

Not All Dragons Breathe Fire

For a dragon, I’m surprisingly social. I like being around people, watching what everyone is up to and making sure I don’t miss anything interesting. I’m friendly, curious and comfortable being held, and I’m always happy to accept a few gentle pets on top of my head.

You’ll often find me perched somewhere in my enclosure keeping an eye on the room, exploring a new corner or basking while I people-watch. I may be a reptile, but I definitely like being part of the action.

Small Quests. Big Rewards.

Dragons don’t always need epic quests. Bearded dragons like me can learn tricks, form strong bonds with our people and even be leash-trained for supervised adventures.

Personally, I’m equally happy riding around in a hoodie or curling up beside you on the couch. I also take mealtime pretty seriously. Live crickets and worms are always exciting, and I enjoy fresh vegetables, too. Every dragon deserves a feast, after all.

I promise to rule kindly, keep the fire-breathing to a minimum (zero, actually) and bring plenty of personality to the realm.
