Woofstock is the FREE family-friendly, dog-friendly, beer and food festival held rain or shine on the last Saturday in July each year on the grounds of Animal Welfare Society, 46 Holland Road in Kennebunk, Maine.

Enjoy an afternoon of live music, food trucks, local craft brews and lots of doggone fun. There’s something for everyone including games, kids activities, a bounce house, dog agility courses, makers and craft vendors, giveaways and so much more!

Food

More than a dozen food trucks and carts make Woofstock a haven for foodies. Find everything from seafood and burgers to eclectic sweets and tasty coffee.

Beer

For those who love craft beer and local ciders, Woofstock’s Beer Garden is the place to be for 4 oz beverage tasters. Tasting tickets are available for purchase at the event.

Music

No outdoor summer festival in Maine is complete without good tunes! Enjoy live music throughout the festival, as local musical acts keep Woofstock rocking and a-rolling.

Pet Services

Interact with pet service professionals and maybe even get a little something for you pup. You can also watch and try training and agility demonstrations.

Zone in on the fun!

Kids Zone

There is plenty for the kiddos to do at Woofstock. The youth tent offers crafts, games, temporary tattoos and face painting! And don’t miss the bounce house!

Agility Zone

Stop by our indoor (air-conditioned) agility course. Whether your pup is a newbie or an old pro, they will enjoy trying to course – all pups are champions at Woofstock. Certified trainers will be on hand to help!

Chill Zone

The chill zones are shady, cool and comfy, with fresh water to drink (for pups and people) and cool pools to splash around in (pups only!).

Vet Zone

Swing by to meet veterinary professionals and service providers, who will offer pup cups, giveaways, and so much more!

The heart of the Woofstock Festival is the many vendors who share a love of dogs, cats and animals of all kinds! These makers, crafters, nonprofits, pet services and sponsors are eager to present unique products and services for sale, provide cool giveaways, and share important information.

There is no admission fee to attend Woofstock and no tickets to purchase in advance. The Festival is free. Beer tasting tickets can be purchased on-site once inside the Beer Garden.

Woofstock is rain or shine. There is no rain date.

Yes, Woofstock is dog-friendly. The Festival offers an agility course, doggy beer and other activities for pups. We encourage attendees to consider how their dog enjoys large crowds and how they do on leash. All dogs must be leashed while at the event. Please no retractable leashes!

Yes, Woofstock wouldn’t be the success it is without our amazing volunteers. Volunteer shifts take place Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27, before, during and after the festival. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.

No, we do not have an ATM. Most vendors accept cash and cards.

Like many large festivals in Maine, there is never enough parking close to the venue. Attendees should plan to walk up to a quarter mile or so. While there is some parking onsite, it is first come, first serve. Many attendees park along Alfred and Thompson Roads. AWS is is in a residential area so please be respectful of our neighbors and refrain from parking on lawns or blocking driveways. We encourage attendees to be aware of no parking signs. Please be courteous and responsive to our volunteer parking attendants and obey the individuals directing traffic. There is a limited amount of handicap parking at the Festival. Proceed down Holland Road to be directed to an accessible parking spot.

Attendees 21+ can purchase taking tickets for 4 oz samples from any of the 15+ breweries on site. For $10 you get 3 tasting tickets. Tickets can be redeemed at any of the beer tents. Most breweries offer 2-3 different beverage options. Because the beer is donated, all proceeds from Beer Garden ticket sales directly benefit pet veterinary care.

The food trucks do not provide their menus in advance. However, there are no restrictions at this Festival about bringing your own food or snacks should you have concerns about what food will be available to purchase.

Yes, we will have drinking water available for dogs and people. Please bring your own water bottle, as we have very limited cups. Look for “Gatorade style” water coolers, which will be located in the Dog Chill Zones.
