Having a Safe Thanksgiving With Your Canine Companions
Hi everyone, my name is Loui and I’m here with my son Bronx. It’s our pleasure to meet you! We are a bonded pair here at AWS and have a stronger bond than most as father and son (though sometimes we act more like brothers!). With Thanksgiving around the corner, our friends at AWS asked us to share some important tips to have a safe Thanksgiving.
Sharing a Special Bond
As a bonded pair at AWS, Bronx and I are looking to find a new home together. Some of our favorite activities involve snuggling on a big couch or going on walks or hikes. We love to be outside, walking, running and having fun together. Any time that we can spend together makes us happy, and we know that spending time with those you love is important this holiday season.
We can’t wait to share our special bond with our next family, and we’re even more excited to spend the holidays together! There’s nothing more meaningful than sharing a big occasion with those you love, and Bronx and I would love to find our new family to share those moments with. If you don’t have any pets and wish you did, how about the two of us? Wouldn’t it be cool if we were in our new home by Thanksgiving?
Tips for a Safe Thanksgiving
Being father and son, we love to spend the holidays together as do many families. Thanksgiving a great time to see the people that mean the most to you, and enjoy some good food! Bronx and I sure love a good feast, and it’s hard to top one as big as Thanksgiving and spending the day with those you love!
Our friends at AWS asked us to share some safety tips for your pets this Thanksgiving! We love when food is shared with us, be some of them don’t agree with our stomachs the way they do with yours. Check out the graphic for what Thanksgiving foods we can and can’t have, so you and your canine companions can have a safe and happy Thanksgiving this year!
For tips on how to control counter surfing, a trick many of our fellow canines love to try during the holidays, check out our latest blog here! (I can say that I, Loui, am a perfect gentleman, but young Bronx here, might just try some counter surfing shenanigans!)
If you or someone you know wants to share our loving bond this Thanksgiving, visit the AWS Adoption Center to come meet us. Or call (207) 985-3244 and ask our wonderful friends about Bronx and Loui!
