Donating food and supply items from our wish lists makes a huge difference and supports our life-saving mission. We rely on donations to help support the more than 10,000 pets we care for each year. That’s why fundraisers and supply drives are beneficial and greatly appreciated! If you’ve ever wanted to host a drive or start a fundraiser for AWS, we’re here to help. What do we need?
While we are always grateful for donations, there are some items we need more than others. If you want to start a supply drive, we would greatly appreciate you checking out our Wish List. The supplies on this list are not only our most needed, but are also brand specific. This is important because keeping our animals on one brand of food during their stay avoids upset stomachs and helps the pets stay happy and healthy. Certain types of toys and medical supplies are also safer for shelter environments, or beneficial to shelter pets specifically.

Together, we support the care and wellbeing of thousands of pets each and every year. Whether you have a one-time fundraiser, plan an online giving campaign or keep a donation canister at your service counter, you make a difference. Thank you!
Supply Drives
Gather friends, coworkers and/or family members to collect items from our wish list. Supply drives are a great way to celebrate your birthday, bond with your colleagues, or have fun as a family. Thank you for ensuring that all pets have access to nutritious food, proper supplies, and plenty of toys. We couldn’t do it without you!

Whether you have a monetary fundraiser or host a supply a drive, please tell us about it! We love to celebrate your kindness and generosity. We may even be able to snap a picture or two with a pet when you deliver the proceeds. With your permission, we also love to share fundraisers on our social channels!
For children, we like to schedule a personalized Hero Tour for them when they drop off their donations (scheduled in advance). This way, we show them how special they are for donating! During their tour, children can see first hand how their donations makes a difference. We look forward to working with you to make your fundraising endeavor a successful one!

Other ways to give
