With Woofstock nearly a week away, we’d like to highlight the many folks who make Woofstock possible! From morning set up to afternoon breaking down, it wouldn’t be a success without our Woofstock Volunteers. While it’s impossible to name everyone, we want to give a special shoutout to the volunteers who man the very busy retail table! With their impeccable customer service, patient and kind personas (not to mention t-shirt folding talents), with these volunteers at the helm, we sell out our t-shirts each and every year! While we won’t name them here, they know who they are! Thank you!
Setting Up Woofstock
As mentioned above, our wonderful Woofstock volunteers do so much work before anyone arrives for a day full of fun! From helping put up all of the tents and banners to helping vendors unload, we are so thankful to our amazing crew of volunteers that set us up for success at Woofstock!! Their tireless efforts make sure you and your pup can have a great Woofstock experience!
Keeping Up the Fun
Woofstock volunteers hard work continues right into the event! They help us keep the fun going in directing traffic, supporting trash & recycling efforts, pouring beer and so much more. These dedicated volunteers are an amazing support making sure Woofstock is fun for everyone!! Thank you to all of the incredible volunteers for all of their support before, during and after Woofstock!!
Clean Up Crew
When the clock strikes 3 pm and our Woofstock attendees head out on the shuttle busses, the festival doesn’t magically clean itself up (wouldn’t that be amazing!)! The magic comes from staff and volunteers who help AWS look like it’s usual self. The volunteers who help take down tents, pack up vehicles, pick up trash and get AWS tidied up shine just as much as those who come before them. Thank you to the dedicated souls who make sure AWS is ready to get back to business on Sunday, as the Adoption Center is open normal hours!
